Community Event and Art Exhibit

On Saturday June 3^rd 2PM-6PM an exhibit to raise awareness hosted by:

SAFE PASSAGE – THRIVE INTEGRATIVE WELLNESS -WOMEN OF WATTS & BEYOND

Purpose: to raise awareness, encourage, and inspire the community members to speak out against domestic violence and abuse.  To mentor and provide assistance in recovery, healing, wellness plans and strengthening the community.

Team captain Ozzie Osborne led 62 volunteers by M.I.T.T. who raised monies to transform

Safe Passage office a community place of resources, by also putting together a day of celebration to bring awareness regarding these issues in all our comminutes. Unique photographs were taken by Louella Allen and on exhibit showcasing women, children and survivors of domestic violence. Participating & attending were local community leaders, staff members and local news.

Guest singer J.C. Gonzalez performed the song (Safe Passage) live on stage. Master of ceremony JR & Live music along with information booths made this event of awareness a glorious day.
